TEGO® Solve 55 – Novel PEG-free solubilizer for the efficient solubilization of essential and perfume oils

Evonik is introducing TEGO® Solve 55, a completely natural-based, PEG-free product with excellent solubilizing properties for a wide variety of perfume and essential oils such as lemon, rosemary, and lavender. The product is cold processable and low foaming in water allowing mixtures with oils and water to be easily prepared. In addition to solubilizing, TEGO® Solve 55 exhibits ultra-mild cleansing attributes, improved moisturization, and skin feel benefits.

Besides applications in body washes and shampoos, even high electrolyte containing formulations such as clear AP/Deo roll-ons are achievable with TEGO® Solve 55. Other preferred application forms including micellar waters and make-up removers show superior cleansing results for water-proof decorative products.
